About the Role
As a Production Foreman in our new precast facility, you will play a key role in leading and communicating daily operations. Your expertise in wet cast/precast concrete production will be essential in establishing safe practices, high-quality standards, and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct production crews in a wet cast/precast environment.
- Assist in startup operations including equipment commissioning, layout planning, and procedure development.
- Work closely with management to create daily production schedules aligned with output goals.
- Optimize workflows to improve safety, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Ensure the correct use and maintenance of molds, formwork, batching systems, and curing processes.
- Train and mentor new employees on safety, quality, and production standards.
- Monitor raw material use and coordinate with inventory and procurement.
- Maintain detailed production reports and quality control documentation.
- Quickly identify and resolve safety, quality, & production issues with proactive problem-solving.
- Assists with production needs due to staffing, workflow, or production demands.
- Foster a positive, safety-focused culture while enforcing company policies and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with wet cast and/or precast concrete production.
- Preferred: 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of precast molds, forms, pouring, and curing processes.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to train and lead diverse teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving start-up setting.
