About the Role:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Install structures and fixtures such as tables, cabinets, doors, windows, and flooring.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and repair existing frameworks and structures to ensure stability and compliance.
- Select appropriate materials and hardware for each project based on durability and design.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet design and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
- Any other responsibilities assigned as well.
We Require:
- Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
- Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches.
