About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC systems for batching plants, mixers, and material handling equipment.
- Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs to optimize concrete production processes.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime.
- Integrate PLCs with sensors, scales, and control panels for accurate batching and quality control.
- Maintain documentation for wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve system reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problem.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, switches, and valves.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed.
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Position does require working on tall structures using a manlift, climbing ladders and the use of safety harnesses.
About You
We Require:
- Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
- Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
- Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
- Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
- Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques. Detail orientation.
- Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
- Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license.
