We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and knowledgeable recommendations.
- Duties*
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Upsell menu items and special promotions to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction with meals and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and preparing for the next service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Skills*
- Proficient in Toast POS, or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and billing purposes.
- Familiarity with Resy or similar reservation systems is beneficial.
