This seasonal position assists with the management of the entire scope of the facility in the absence of the GM
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations that include, but are not limited to, programs, events and physical facilities
- Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately
- Supervise the rink employees to include assisting in scheduling staff with attention to the payroll budget
- Possess the knowledge of all the rink positions and the ability to work in that capacity as required
- Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues
- Responsible for all cash handling including reconciling petty cash daily, and daily bank deposits
- Maintain a clean and safe facility
- Communicate professionally verbally and in writing
- Perform any other duties as assigned

- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 2 years of demonstrated work experience in ice rink or recreational facility or equivalent.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior management/supervisory experience preferred
- Must be willing to comply with all federal, state, and local COVID mandates/guidelines
Working Conditions
Work responsibilities will be performed in a standard office environment, however all functions named in this section could also be performed on an ice surface or in a recreational facility, depending on the location. Work may be required indoor and outdoor.
Additional Conditions:

Use of standard office equipment that includes computers and software packages, fax and copy machines, telephones, and cash registers

Use of maintenance and cleaning equipment that includes ice resurfacing machines, ice maintenance equipment, skate sharpeners, vacuums, mops, and any other equipment associated with use in a recreational facility
Physical Requirements
This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and ice skating.
Salary : $18 - $19
