Sr. IT Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to work for our client. This role will lead system architecture and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor technical teams in design, implementation, and delivery of infrastructure solutions
• Define and document solution architecture for complex technical challenges
• Provide expert guidance across application, data, integration, security, and systems management domains
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Server and Desktop environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Design and manage virtualization solutions using VMware and support cloud deployments in Azure
• Assist in creating system documentation, user procedures, and test plans; coordinate system testing and validation
• Contribute to IT strategy development that aligns with short-term and long-term business objectives

Qualifications:

• 5 years of systems engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Server & Desktop administration
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and Azure cloud services
• Excellent understanding of system architecture, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
