Ringgold County Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team in a flexible PRN/rotating weekend on-call position.
This is a great opportunity for a Radiology Technologist looking for flexible hours, supplemental work, or a way to stay connected to the profession. The ideal candidate would be available to take one weekend of rotating on-call each month, with additional PRN shifts available based on department needs and availability.
What You’ll Do
As a Radiology Technologist, you will provide critical imaging services across multiple modalities including Radiology, Limited Ultrasound, Mammography, and CT. You’ll play a key role in patient care, supporting diagnostic procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic, CT, and limited sonographic procedures under Radiologist supervision.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, recognizing and responding to urgent clinical conditions.
- Uphold department efficiency by minimizing unnecessary exposure and film wastage.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in quality control initiatives.
- Adhere to departmental policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide input on equipment and supply needs.
- Support continuous improvement through ongoing education and development.
