Mount Ayr Medical Clinic Nurse (LPN or RN)

Ringgold County Hospital is seeking compassionate and dedicated nurses to join our team! The Mount Ayr Medical Clinic plays a vital role in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care throughout the hospital. This role includes patient assessment, care planning, clinical coordination, and direct patient support. Position Highlights:

Essential Functions:

• Manage all incoming and outgoing telephone communications for the department
• Schedule patient clinics and clinic procedures
• Prepare charts and ensure all relevant clinical information is available prior to patient visits
• Update patient information and obtain vital signs as needed
• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care including pre- and post-procedure assessment, assisting with procedures, and follow-up care
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the care process
• Track patient visits and initiate billing procedures
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Oversee and replenish patient care supplies and equipment
• Administer nail care per physician referral and protocol
• Operate standard office equipment as required
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit problem-solving
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospital policies and standards
• Assist with orientation and education of co-workers, students, and healthcare team members
• Complete prior authorizations and carry out physician- or manager-assigned special tasks
• Flexibility to work scheduled holidays or shifts if needed
