Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Ringgold County Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. This important role helps ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. The Environmental Services Technician is an essential part of our infection prevention efforts and contributes directly to the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, procedure areas, offices, restrooms, and other hospital spaces according to established safety and infection prevention standards.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window washing, bed making, and waste removal.
- Follow proper cleaning, disinfecting, hand hygiene, and PPE practices to support a safe healthcare environment.
- Maintain assigned areas, supplies, equipment, carts, and storage spaces in a clean and organized manner.
- Complete cleaning checklists and documentation accurately.
- Process, sort, fold, and distribute linens as needed.
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, and report equipment concerns.
- Prepare and deliver linen carts throughout the hospital.
- Assist with moving furniture and other assigned tasks.
- Respond appropriately to immediate cleaning needs while prioritizing daily responsibilities.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in training, meetings, and department improvement activities.
