What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Bench Technician position at Ring Power Cat?
The position of the Electronics Bench Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, estimation, installation of electronic parts, and interaction with end users to ensure a positive service repair experience. This position will also maintain rental equipment and prepare new equipment for delivery to end-users.
Troubleshooting, evaluating, estimating, and repairing customer GPS survey/machine control as well as construction laser equipment.
Anticipate parts needs and add to order list.
Maintain SITECH NCFL rental equipment; conduct repairs when necessary and approved by management.
Prepare new equipment for delivery; may include upgrading firmware/software, inputting passcodes, and calibrating.
Interact and support end users to ensure a positive service and support experience. Including; providing estimates and status updates to customers.
Communicate with service manager regularly to stay educated on the latest training, tools, and techniques in this field of service.
Maintain office/shop space, tools, and equipment.
