What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder - 2nd Shift position at Rinehart Racing?
Pay Rate -$22.94 /hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential
Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
- MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components as well as thin-wall tubing
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience required
- Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel required
- Experience with both MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 40 pounds
- Ability to identify and measure material
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauge
- Ability to work in a team environment
Hours of Work:
2nd shift hours: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm, Monday – Friday
(May be subject to overtime hours on weekdays and weekends)
