Overview
We are seeking an entry level evening and weekend prep, store cleaner, barista trainee to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious and nutritious smoothies while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Duties
- Prepare and blend a variety of smoothie recipes according to established guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie station and café area.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash and processing transactions.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures to ensure the highest quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help others.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
