About the Role
A community outreach initiative is activating events this summer and fall across Maine, and we’re looking for a Tour Manager to lead execution on the ground. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and experienced in managing event logistics and teams in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
The Tour Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the tour, including setup and breakdown, inventory management, on-site execution, and reporting. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at events, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and professional experience for attendees while supporting program goals and community outreach efforts.

What You’ll Do:
Lead Event Execution: Oversee all aspects of on-site activations from setup through breakdown
- Serve as the primary on-site lead for client, partners, and event organizers
- Ensure all activations are executed according to program standards and timelines
- Safely install and dismantle all event elements, including tents, signage, and engagement stations
Manage Tour Logistics: Transport event materials and supplies to and from event locations
- Ensure all assets are organized, maintained, and event-ready
- Coordinate event timelines, layouts, and operational needs
Oversee Inventory: Track and manage inventory of materials, giveaways, and supplies
- Ensure appropriate inventory levels for each event
- Coordinate restocking and organization between events
Support & Lead Staff : Supervise and support on-site staff or BrandTouch® Brand Ambassadors
- Delegate responsibilities and maintain clear communication
- Ensure a professional, engaging presence at all times
Capture Content & Reporting : Capture basic photo and video content (smartphone-level) for recaps
- Document event activity, attendance, and engagement
- Submit timely post-event reports and summaries
- Track key event details to support post-event reporting
Tour Details & Schedule : Total Events: 8 fairs and festivals
- Total Event Days: Approximately 20–25 days
- All events located within Maine (statewide travel required)
- Events include multi-day festivals and weekend-heavy schedules
- Must be available for all scheduled event dates and pre-tour training
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in event marketing, activations, or field marketing
- Strong organizational and logistics management skills
- Experience with event setup/breakdown and inventory management
- Comfortable working independently and problem-solving on-site
- Prior experience leading teams or managing staff preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and assist with event setup/breakdown
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in public-facing environments
Compensation & Schedule
- Competitive daily or weekly rate (based on experience)
- Travel reimbursement for in-state travel (mileage and applicable expenses)
- Schedule varies based on event calendar (primarily weekends and multi-day events)
