A community outreach initiative is activating events this summer and fall across Maine, and we’re looking for a Tour Manager to lead execution on the ground. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and experienced in managing event logistics and teams in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.

The Tour Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the tour, including setup and breakdown, inventory management, on-site execution, and reporting. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact at events, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and professional experience for attendees while supporting program goals and community outreach efforts.

If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces across a series of events, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of a focused, statewide tour.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Event Execution: Oversee all aspects of on-site activations from setup through breakdown

  • Serve as the primary on-site lead for client, partners, and event organizers
  • Ensure all activations are executed according to program standards and timelines
  • Safely install and dismantle all event elements, including tents, signage, and engagement stations

Manage Tour Logistics: Transport event materials and supplies to and from event locations

  • Ensure all assets are organized, maintained, and event-ready
  • Coordinate event timelines, layouts, and operational needs

Oversee Inventory: Track and manage inventory of materials, giveaways, and supplies

  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels for each event
  • Coordinate restocking and organization between events

Support & Lead Staff : Supervise and support on-site staff or BrandTouch® Brand Ambassadors

  • Delegate responsibilities and maintain clear communication
  • Ensure a professional, engaging presence at all times

Capture Content & Reporting : Capture basic photo and video content (smartphone-level) for recaps

  • Document event activity, attendance, and engagement
  • Submit timely post-event reports and summaries
  • Track key event details to support post-event reporting

Tour Details & Schedule : Total Events: 8 fairs and festivals

  • Total Event Days: Approximately 20–25 days
  • All events located within Maine (statewide travel required)
  • Events include multi-day festivals and weekend-heavy schedules
  • Must be available for all scheduled event dates and pre-tour training

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in event marketing, activations, or field marketing
  • Strong organizational and logistics management skills
  • Experience with event setup/breakdown and inventory management
  • Comfortable working independently and problem-solving on-site
  • Prior experience leading teams or managing staff preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and assist with event setup/breakdown
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism in public-facing environments

Compensation & Schedule

  • Competitive daily or weekly rate (based on experience)
  • Travel reimbursement for in-state travel (mileage and applicable expenses)
  • Schedule varies based on event calendar (primarily weekends and multi-day events)

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to lead a meaningful, community-focused program across Maine, helping bring important resources directly to the public through well-executed event experiences.
