Rimkus Consulting Group is looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Project Assistant to provide essential support to our project management teams. As a key player in our organization, you will help coordinate project activities, manage documentation, and facilitate communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to the success of complex engineering and consulting projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in the coordination and administration of projects.
- Maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate meeting minutes.
- Track project progress and update project plans as necessary.
- Facilitate communication among team members and with external stakeholders.
- Support procurement activities such as preparing purchase orders and vendor communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or project support role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.
- Familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
Work is performed primarily in an office setting. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk (must be able to speak and communicate clearly with employees). Employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
There will be periods where overtime will be required to meet the company’s business needs.
