Summary
A growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, multifamily, and public works construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has experience managing $20M–$50M commercial construction projects, can successfully lead multiple projects, and is committed to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial, multifamily, and public works projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and scope coordination
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents to maintain field productivity and project schedules
- Track job costs, billing, forecasting, and overall financial performance
- Conduct owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor meetings
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure successful project execution
- Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget goals
- Oversee project closeout including punch lists, warranties, and final turnover
- Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships

Requirements
- 5 years of Project Management experience with a general contractor
- Experience managing commercial, multifamily, or public works projects required
- Experience on $20M–$50M construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software preferred
