Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, production scheduling, and reporting. This role requires a flexible approach to shift work, as you will be responsible for managing production across multiple shifts to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that production goals and quality standards are met consistently
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in productivity, quality, and safety
- Manage and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline operations
- Prepare and analyze production reports, providing insights and recommendations to upper management
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to production activities

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Proven track record in production scheduling and optimization
- Strong proficiency in manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of production management software and reporting tools
- Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
