Summary of Qualifications:
We are currently representing a respected general contractor seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join their team. This role supports the Superintendent and Project Manager in overseeing the successful execution of multi-family and senior living construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong field coordination experience, solid technical knowledge, and is eager to grow within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Superintendent in day-to-day job site operations and team management
- Assist with field coordination, job site logistics, and maintaining the project schedule
- Establish and maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and agencies
- Participate in reviewing project documents, including shop drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including RFIs, ASIs, and as-builts
- Help develop and enforce site-specific emergency action plans
- Coordinate with subcontractors and oversee work progress
- Assist with building and subcontractor inspections and regulatory agency coordination
- Use construction management software including Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent on multi-family or senior living projects
- Experience on projects ranging from $40M–$150M in value
- Proficient in construction scheduling and documentation
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, MS Office, and PlanGrid
