About the Role
We are seeking a VP of Finance to serve as a senior financial leader and strategic partner to the executive team. This role owns the financial planning function end-to-end — from long-range modeling and board reporting to business partnership and market intelligence. You will help shape how the company allocates capital, tells its financial story, and scales with discipline.
What You'll Do
Strategic Finance & Planning
- Own the long-range financial plan, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts
- Lead company-wide resource allocation, investment prioritization, and financial governance
- Partner with the leadership team on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and organizational design
- Drive AI-enabled transformation of financial planning and reporting processes
FP&A Leadership
- Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management
- Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, margins, headcount, cash flow, and capital needs
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for executives and the Board
- Continuously improve planning accuracy, financial discipline, and insight quality across the organization
Investor Relations & Executive Communications
- Develop and maintain the company's financial narrative for external stakeholders
- Prepare materials for Board meetings, investor discussions, and senior executive presentations
- Support due diligence processes, investor updates, and external financial communications
- Ensure financial reporting and storytelling are consistent, credible, and decision-useful
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and industry dynamics; deliver comparative analysis to leadership
Business Partnership
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to leaders across the company
- Evaluate ROI for major initiatives, pricing decisions, and go-to-market investments
- Translate complex financial outcomes into clear, actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- 12 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking
- Demonstrated success leading capital raises, investor relationships, and complex transactions
- Experience with acquisitions and strategic partnerships
- Exceptional executive communication
- Experience in cybersecurity and/or government contracting required
- Experience managing foreign entities and international operations required
