Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools, machinery, and welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding).
- Conduct pipe threading and machining as required for specific projects.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to transport materials within the work area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe lifting practices.
- Knowledge of machining processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
