Location: Chanhassen, MN
Salary Range: $51,062 – $76,737
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

At Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District (RPBCWD), we’re looking for a Water Resources Technician III to help us protect, manage, and restore our water resources.

What You’ll Do
- Monitor lakes and streams for water quality and hydrology.
- Collect biological data on fish, aquatic vegetation, and invasive species.
- Manage large datasets and interpret results for diverse audiences.
- Prepare annual water resource reports and assist with special projects.
- Work collaboratively to develop materials to educate the public on our mission and goals.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in natural resources, ecology, fisheries, or related field 3 years experience
- OR Associate’s 5 years experience
Skills:
- Knowledge of water quality monitoring, electrofishing, and data collection equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office and ArcGIS
- Ability to operate watercraft and conduct fieldwork in all weather
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with R or Python
- Public speaking skills
- Trimble GPS knowledge
