You'll handle residential HVAC service calls throughout the Carson Valley area, using your technical knowledge to accurately diagnose issues and determine the right solution.
- Diagnose heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-performance issues
- Complete repairs and component replacements
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
- Test equipment and verify proper system operation
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance
- Explain findings and repair recommendations clearly to homeowners
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Provide professional customer service on every call
This is an experienced technician position. We're looking for someone who can work confidently and independently in the field.
Required
- 3 years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification
- Valid driver's license and clean, insurable driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to complete HVAC repairs
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
- NATE Certification
- Experience mentoring or training newer technicians
- Broad residential HVAC system knowledge
