Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. This on-site, in-office role provides comprehensive support to attorneys in managing litigation and transactional matters. This position requires strong organizational, research and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal concepts, including Law and Legal Assistants
- Managing and maintaining case files and legal databases
- Drafting, revising and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and electronically filing documents with federal and state courts
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
- Summarizing depositions and assembling case chronologies
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Tracking and entering attorney billable hours
- Previous experience working in a legal environment is advantageous
