Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to a high standard of quality, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in various finishing techniques, and the ability to work efficiently on construction sites. Prior experience in construction and related trades is highly valued, and familiarity with blueprints and schematics will enhance performance. Duties
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints for a smooth finish
- Sand and prepare surfaces for painting or further finishing processes
- Install corner beads, trim, and other accessories as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate finishing
- Coordinate with carpenters, plumbers, masons, and other trades to ensure proper installation of drywall components
- Perform repairs related to water damage restoration or mold remediation when required
- Assist with related tasks such as caulking, fixture installation, or painting as part of broader remodeling or renovation projects
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety standards on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction trades such as plastering or carpentry
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and various building codes
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and industry best practices
- Skills in related areas including trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, and airless paint spraying are a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during work shifts
- Prior experience in restoration industry work or water damage remediation is advantageous

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
