Position Summary
The Sr Lease Analyst assists the Lease Records Manager in advanced interpretation, setup, and maintenance of oil and gas leases and related land contracts. Independently reviews and applies title opinions, federal and state agency lease documents, and ownership reports to ensure accurate lease records and compliance with contractual obligations. Monitors lease obligations and expirations to support the Land team while maintaining established lease setup procedures and system accuracy.

Monitors lease obligations and expirations to support the Land team while maintaining established lease setup procedures and system accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Route miscellaneous contracts/documentation for execution and approval
- Analyze, summarize, verify and set up oil and gas leases and related contracts in accordance with established procedures
- Interpret and apply title opinion requirements to lease records, including curative items, depth limitations and ownership calculations
- Verify legal descriptions, depths, formations and agency lease numbers prior to lease setup
- Monitor lease obligations, ownership changes and expirations to support the Land team
- Assist in preparing assignment exhibits and conveyances, and support post-transaction lease record updates and property assimilation
- Other duties as requested or required
