Carpenter

We specialize in high-quality residential renovations and are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working on a wide variety of projects.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate has strong finish carpentry skills but is also a well-rounded carpenter who can handle multiple aspects of residential renovation.

Experience should include:

• Finish carpentry and detailed trim work
• Crown molding, baseboards, wainscoting and decorative moldings
• Coffered ceiling installation
• Interior and exterior door installation
• Cabinetry and built-ins
• Framing and general carpentry
• Hardwood and other flooring installation

Bonus skills but not requirements:

• Tile installation
• Drywall installation and repair
• Interior painting and finish work
• General residential renovation and repair work

You don't necessarily need to be an expert in every trade, but you should be a highly capable problem-solver who is comfortable taking on different types of projects.

The Right Person

We're looking for someone who:

• Has significant hands-on residential construction experience
• Produces high-quality, precise finish work
• Understands how to work in higher-end homes
• Can work independently without constant supervision
• Can read plans, take accurate measurements and determine materials needed
• Is organized and keeps a clean job site
• Takes ownership of their work and follows projects through to completion
• Communicates professionally with homeowners, subcontractors and other team members
• Is dependable and shows up when expected
• Has their own basic tools and reliable transportation
• Is comfortable working in downtown Boston and surrounding communities
