Peak Utility Services Group is an integrated group of engineering and construction companies serving the Electric, Natural Gas and Telecommunications industry. We provide a full suite of engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance services including repair, replacement, maintenance, and installation of natural gas, telecommunications, and electric infrastructure through five operating subsidiaries: Track Utilities, SiteWise, Kelly Cable, Riley Brothers and Superior Pipeline Services.

Essential Functions:

Take direction from supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all jobs
Perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions
Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic control in order to complete restoration activities without quality defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage
Complete daily inspections and reporting of maintenance issues on vehicles, trailers and equipment
Operate all vehicles, equipment and tools while adhering to company safety standards
Works efficiently to achieve a high level of productivity daily
Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, inspectors and client representatives
Completes paperwork for job and material tracking, time reporting and vehicle use in an accurate and timely manner
Understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
Willingness and ability to learn additional skills

Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a work shift
Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling
Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers
Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports
Willingness and ability to learn additional skills
Experience and Education:
2-3 years of concrete/finishing experience preferred
2 years of experience in the construction, underground or telecom industry
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, grasp, push, pull and reach on a frequent basis throughout the day. Must be able to lift-up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
Time management skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Required to travel out of town to work on projects of varying length approximately 10% of the time
CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement preferred
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
