The vacancy for a Product Development Specialist at Rijk Zwaan USA
The Product Development Specialist is responsible for developing Rijk Zwaan seed business in the San Joaquin Valley Region. Within this role, you are responsible for organizing and following variety trials in consultation with Rijk Zwaan staff, distributors, growers and cooperating companies with a focus on vegetables. In addition, you are also responsible for the introduction and sales of the total Rijk Zwaan open field product development activities for all outdoor varieties in the San Joaquin Valley Region USA. The position is remote based in San Joaquin Valley, California.
We are seeking a Product Development Specialist with the following criteria:
- BS, or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field
- 5 years of experience or more in agriculture, seed business or production is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interest in the Ag industry
- Ability to develop good long-term industry relationships
- Team-oriented

Salary range $60K - $95K per year
Rijk Zwaan USA starting base salary ranges are determined by location, role, and level and reflect a minimum and maximum target for new hires for this position across all of our USA locations. Within the base salary range, an employee’s pay is determined by work location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
