Job Description
The Sourcing & Procurement Specialist provides tactical sourcing, supplier coordination, and contract support across a diverse set of categories. Responsibilities
- Execute tactical sourcing activities across multiple categories, including operational and indirect spend
- Support supplier coordination, communications, and day-to-day relationship management
- Assist with supplier bid events, including RFQs/RFPs, evaluations, and award recommendations
- Review and support renegotiation of commercial terms such as rates, pricing structures, and service agreements
- Manage ad hoc sourcing requests and ensure timely delivery of results
- Track sourcing activities, contract status, and supplier performance across assigned workstreams
- Support contract administration, including documentation, amendments, and compliance tracking
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing efforts
- Ensure commercial activities are executed in accordance with procurement processes and standards
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
- Strong sourcing and procurement execution skills
- Experience supporting supplier negotiations and commercial discussions
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with RFx processes and contract support activities
- Commercial awareness, including pricing structures and cost drivers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Exposure to oil and gas, energy, or industrial services procurement preferred
- Experience supporting both direct (operations-related) and indirect spend categories is a plus
- Proven ability to execute sourcing tasks and manage competing priorities
