Duties
- Assist in preparing baked goods, including dough preparation, cake decorating, and pastry assembly
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support high-volume production
- Package baked items accurately to maintain quality and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Support food handling procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, process transactions accurately at the cashier station, and provide excellent customer service
- Restock display cases and assist with food presentation to ensure an appealing storefront environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of cake decorating, dough preparation, and baking techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail for recipe adherence and quality control of baked goods
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and following food safety practices diligently
- Experience in high-volume food production or catering environments is advantageous
