Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring that all loads are delivered safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, as well as the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects and maintaining site productivity.
Duties
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt to designated locations.
- Knowledge and ability to effectively complete all routine and general maintenance on the dump truck.
- Load and unload materials using backhoe operation, loader operation, or other heavy machinery as required.
- Collaborate with construction site teams to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role within the civil construction industry is preferred.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B with Airbrake endorsement is required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as needed.
