Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Client Support
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
- Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
- Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
- Implement behavior‑reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
- Collect accurate, real‑time data on client progress.
- Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
- Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data‑collection software.
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
- Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.
- Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Salary : $24 - $35
