We are looking for a dedicated Grounds Specialist in Greenfield Wisconsin 53221with $18.00-$20.00/hr pay for a 6 months temp to hire opportunity. In this role, you will provide comprehensive grounds and maintenance services to support burial, landscaping, and burial marker installation. This role ensures all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and with respect for the families we serve, maintaining the beauty and integrity of the grounds. Requires High school diploma or equivalent and minimum six (6) months related experience and operating standard grounds equipment.– APPLY NOW!Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Must be available to work Saturdays as needed. Occasional work beyond standard hours may be required.Work Environment:Outdoor/indoor, all seasons and weather conditionsWhat You’ll Do:Assist with openings and closings for burials, entombments, and inurnments.Operate mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other grounds equipment safely and efficiently.Dig graves, place headstones, haul dirt, and manage setup and teardown of gravesites.Set, install, and assemble foundations, memorials, and markers.Install outer burial containers and complete work orders related to grave and marker maintenance.Respond to service requests and ensure all assigned tasks are completed promptly.Prepare burial areas within a 25-foot radius and maintain a clean, neat workspace.Fill graves, tamp soil, and seed or sod areas as needed.Adhere to all company safety rules, universal precautions, and standards of the Dignity Memorial Promise.Maintain a clean, orderly work area and complete required training.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.What We’re Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent.Acceptable driving record and applicable licenses to operate equipment and vehicles.Minimum six (6) months experience operating standard grounds equipment.Proficient with hand-held tools and equipment including shovels, picks, rakes, sledgehammers, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, and pumps.Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, utility vehicles, marker trailers, dump trailers, jack hammers, tampers, and backhoes.Skilled in using measuring devices accurately (tape measures, yardsticks, etc.).Work performed indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons.Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and client families.Physically capable of lifting objects up to 50 lbs.RightStone is a strategic partner that works with our clients to place the highest caliber of talent for a wide range of industries and skill sets.
