What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cherry Picker position at RightStone?
We are looking for a dedicated Cherry Picker in Irving TX 75038 with $17.50/hr pay for a 3-month contract duration (temp to hire opportunity). In this role, you support warehouse operations by safely handling inventory, assisting with order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate movement of goods throughout the facility. Must be experienced working at heights and capable of operating various warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment. – APPLY NOW!
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or until work is completed)
- Weekend work may be required as needed
- Candidates must be open to occasional weekend shifts as workloads vary.
Dress Code:
- Required PPE: Steel-toe shoes
- Additional safety gear may be provided on-site as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a cherry picker forklift to place, retrieve, or relocate large items stored on warehouse racks.
- Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to company standards.
- Track inventory movements and maintain accurate documentation of product locations within the warehouse.
- Use an elevated cherry picker platform to assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with equipment operation guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks and wrapping pallets for outgoing deliveries.
- Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 6 months of experience operating a cherry picker or forklift.
- Experience with pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, or stand-up forklifts preferred.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Strong hand–eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work at heights and sustain physical activity throughout the shift.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work both weekday and occasional weekend shifts.
