Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products or services
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Support customers through banking and financial service inquiries, such as loan processing or account questions
- Manage cash management responsibilities accurately using retail math and basic math skills
- Operate financial software systems efficiently for transactions and record-keeping
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing to maximize customer engagement
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances your ability to assist customers effectively
- Basic math skills, including retail math and 10-key typing proficiency, are essential for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain products, services, and financial options
- Ability to handle cash responsibly, perform cash handling duties accurately, and manage cash registers confidently
- Experience with financial software applications is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
