What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printer position at Righteous Clothing Agency?
We are looking for a Screen Printer at our Clackamas, OR facility. Experience operating a manual screen-printing press required. Experience operating a automatic screen printing machine a plus.
Primary Duties:
- All aspects of the screen printing process - from burning screens, to registration, to printing, to folding, to packaging, to reclaiming screens
- Complete thorough documentation on work orders and pellons
- Keeping shop clean and organized
- Equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Follow all required Safety Rules and use personal protection equipment when necessary
Secondary Duties:
- Contribute to team effort by filling roles as needed (ie: pulling and/or packing online store orders from stock, receiving, shipping)
- Heat press operation
- Other duties may be assigned and assistance in other departments may be requested
Work Environment:
This job operates in a warehouse environment. Extremes in warm or cold temperatures must be tolerated and adherence to all safety guidelines is expected.
Safety training is required for working with various products and chemicals and around moving mechanical parts and machinery. Exposure to airborne cotton fibers, chemical fumes from treated garments, spray adhesives, and cleaners is possible. The use of personal protection equipment (PPE) at designated stations and for using specific products/machinery is mandatory.
The employee will frequently use automated and manual printing presses, gas dryer, and heat transfer machine.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, tolerate repetitive motion, push, pull, bend at the waist, stand for long periods of time, hear, talk, use fingers and hands, reach with hands and arms and lift boxes up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to stand for 8 hours each day and must be able to work at a fast pace.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week; standard start time is 7:00 am.
