IT Project Manager

Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects, including network and desktop upgrade migrations and rollout initiatives. This role will involve gathering requirements from stakeholders, creating project strategies and plans, and overseeing execution to ensure timely and successful delivery. This is a hybrid role based in Queens County, NY.

Starting at $100,000/year.

IT Project Manager’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Run stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and project specifications.
• Develop detailed project strategies, plans, and timelines for network and desktop upgrade/migration projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams to execute and deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust plans as necessary.
• Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed during project execution.
  
  

IT Project Manager’s Qualifications And Skills

• Proven experience managing IT projects, including network and desktop upgrade or migration initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to build detailed strategies and plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
