We are seeking a motivated and experienced property & casualty Insurance Agent to join our team.This role will be flexible in sales and customer service with a solid understanding of team building and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, networking, and community engagement to generate new business opportunities.
- Assess client needs through detailed analysis skills, providing customized insurance solutions that align with their personal or business objectives.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting company sales targets.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as preparing proposals, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records in compliance with privacy standards like HIPAA and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) where applicable.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, explaining coverage options clearly, and guiding clients through the claims process when needed.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand awareness and attract diverse client segments, including multilingual outreach efforts.Assist in benefits administration for clients by explaining policy benefits, coverage limits, and optional add-ons to maximize customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales and retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate complex insurance concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM software to streamline client management processes.
- Analytical skills for assessing client needs, evaluating risk factors, and recommending appropriate insurance products.
- Knowledge of insurance sales practices along with familiarity with marketing strategies to promote services effectively.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in telemarketing or in-person outreach marketing methods is advantageous for expanding client reach.
