Right Way Traffic Control, Inc., a rapidly growing construction company specializing in traffic control, signage, striping, guardrail, fence and miscellaneous steel erection, is looking to add a qualified individual to help manage our fleet of trucks and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with shop foreman to communicate findings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role in the automotive/equipment industry.
- Someone with diesel and/or electrical experience is a plus but is not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
