What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biomedical Technician position at Right Way Medical?
Right Way Medical is seeking a biomedical technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair on a variety of infusion pumps. Applicants will ideally have direct industry experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Biomedical Technician will be expected to learn troubleshooting skills and operation of a wide variety of biomedical equipment. He/she will be expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives. Must have some mechanical experience.

Specific Duties
- Will perform PM’s and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment
- Will identify personal training needs
- Will assure the service area is clean and orderly, providing a safe environment for service personnel
- Will assure accurate database entry and reports
- Expected to meet production goals set for the department
Experience and Knowledge
- Basic troubleshooting ability
- Some knowledge of various hospital/homecare medical equipment helpful
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- Understanding of and ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
- Strong work ethic and focus on quality work
- Must be neat and organized
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Professionalism and a mature sense of accountability
