Role Description
This is a full-time, 2nd shift role for a School Custodian located in Minocqua, WI. The School Custodian will be responsible for daily cleaning and project tasks to ensure a clean and safe school environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and performing project work. The custodian will work closely with school staff and custodial staff to address any immediate cleaning or project needs and ensure all areas are well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Experience with cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of bathrooms, stocking supplies and dusting
- Willing to learn stripping and waxing of hard floors, carpet cleaning and window cleaning
- Ability to perform minor repairs
- Follow security instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and able to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving repetitive motions and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance role is a plus but willing to train the right candidate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
- Valid driver’s license required
