Role Description This full-time, on-site Property Manager role is based in Wylie, TX. The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the storage facility, including opening and closing the site, monitoring property conditions, and ensuring units are clean, secure, and ready for rental. The role includes handling customer inquiries, processing rentals and payments, managing tenant accounts, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Property Manager will also coordinate maintenance requests, manage vendors as needed, and implement company policies to ensure safety, compliance, and positive customer experiences. This position involves working independently, meeting occupancy and revenue goals, and representing Right Move Self-Storage in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and colleagues.
- Basic property management and facility operations skills, including unit inspections, site upkeep, and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Experience with sales and leasing activities, such as presenting unit options, explaining rental terms, and closing rental agreements.
- Proficiency with computer systems for data entry, payment processing, and report generation; comfort learning new software tools.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet operational deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site, perform light physical tasks (such as walking the property and inspecting units), and follow safety and security procedures.
- Previous experience in self-storage, property management, retail, or related fields is preferred but not required.
