About the role
Our client is a national trust company expanding its Anchorage office and hiring two levels of trust professionals to support high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships. Both roles are true trust administration positions, with no money management and no sales involved. The Trust Advisor will be mentored to eventually take over an existing book of business, while the Senior Trust Advisor will own client relationships directly, serving as the main point of contact and collaborating with clients' external advisors.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and review complex trusts for HNW and UHNW clients at the $25 to $50 million-plus level
- Own the client relationship as the main point of contact for HNW and UHNW clients (Senior Trust Advisor)
- Collaborate with clients' external advisors on trust matters
- Support the Senior Trust Advisor in servicing HNW and UHNW client accounts (Trust Advisor)
- Ensure day-to-day administration and management of trust accounts
- Take on full ownership of a book of business following a mentorship period (Trust Advisor)
- Focus exclusively on true trust administration, with no money management or sales duties
Qualifications
- 2 to 6 years of trust administration experience for the Trust Advisor role
- 7 to 15-plus years of trust administration experience for the Senior Trust Advisor role
- Experience servicing HNW and UHNW client accounts at the $25 to $50 million-plus level
- Background administering and reviewing complex trusts (Senior Trust Advisor)
- Willingness to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska, or currently based there
