Insurance Agent (440 Licensed) – Job Summary
We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused Insurance Agent (Florida 440 Licensed) to join our team. In this role, you'll generate new business, evaluate client needs, and recommend tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, strong in communication and negotiation, and committed to excellent customer service. Bilingual skills and experience in outside sales, retail, or telemarketing are a plus. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through community outreach, networking, and telemarketing
- Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Explain policies, benefits, and claims processes clearly
- Manage client records, documentation, follow-ups, and renewals
- Negotiate coverage options and close sales
- Maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and referrals
- Support marketing efforts to grow local market presence
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (including HIPAA when applicable)
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Active Florida 440 insurance license (required)
- Sales experience (outside sales, retail, or telemarketing preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable using CRM/sales administration tools
- Customer-service mindset and ability to work with diverse clients
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
