After School Learning Facilitator

**Role:** We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a Child Development Assistant. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of our dynamic daily curriculum, engage children in academic and social character-building, and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting in organizing program materials for lessons and activities
• Supporting the documentation of attendance, incidents, and other observations
• Helping to deliver our curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building
• Modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
• The ability to work well in a team environment
• At least 2 years of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal childcare setting
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or a related field preferred
