Right at Home Boston and Maine’s Kennebunk office is immediately hiring compassionate and dependable Personal Support Specialists, Direct Support Professionals, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Direct Support Workers to provide in-home care to clients in Kennebunk and surrounding communities.
This opportunity is well-suited for caregivers who are available during the day and prefer shorter shift blocks while supporting clients who wish to remain safe and independent in their homes.
Position Details
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
- Daytime shifts available
- Short-hour shift blocks
- Part-time and additional-hour opportunities
- Immediate openings
- In-home client assignments
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when assigned
- Follow the client’s care plan and document services provided
- Report changes in the client’s condition to the office
Qualifications
- Current PSS, DSP, CNA, or DSW credential or relevant caregiving experience
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
- Ability to complete all required background checks, health documentation, and training
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
