Responsibilities and Duties
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
- Taking clients on errands or to medical appointments
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Light housekeeping (sweep, load dishwasher, change sheets, do laundry, etc.)
- Personal hygiene and dressing
- Possible patient-specific activities such as medication reminders, exercises, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A caring demeanor and ability to anticipate what people might need
- Hustle and heart: Willingness to do what it takes to save the day
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Valid driver's license and insured car
- Previous care experience preferred (including caring for your own family)
