Key Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Home Care Aide, you will be an essential part of our team, providing personalized support to clients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
Helping clients move around their home safely (transfers, ambulation, etc.)
Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving)
Providing medication reminders and supporting prescribed range-of-motion exercises
Light Housekeeping:
Performing general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry
Changing bed linens and cleaning the bathroom
Meal Preparation:
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to client needs
Accompanying Clients:
Assisting with errands, appointments, and transportation needs
Providing Companionship:
Engaging in meaningful activities like reading, music, or puzzles to foster emotional well-being
Qualifications and Skills:
We’re looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate (preferred)
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to perform job duties
A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Ability to pass a criminal background check
CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification (preferred)
Full availability (ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends)
Must live in the area
