Location: Circleville, OH

Pay: $15-$17 per hour

Shifts Available: Dayshift

Position Summary:

The In-Home Health Caregiver provides compassionate, high-quality care and assistance to clients in their homes. This role focuses on supporting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring comfort and safety in accordance with individualized care plans. The caregiver acts as a trusted companion and liaison between the client, their family, and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance:
  Provide hands-on support with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and other personal hygiene needs.

• Medication Support:
  Assist with medication reminders, under supervision or per care plan, and report any medication concerns to the supervisor.

• Meal Preparation & Nutrition:
  Plan and prepare balanced meals according to dietary needs, assist with feeding as needed, and encourage hydration and healthy eating habits.

• Household Support:
  Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

• Companionship:
  Offer emotional support, conversation, and recreational activities to enhance quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.

• Health Monitoring:
  Observe and report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to the care supervisor or healthcare provider.

• Transportation & Errands:
  Assist clients with appointments, shopping, and other essential errands as outlined in the care plan.

• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate time sheets, and incident reports according to agency policies..

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Minimum of [6 months–1 year] caregiving or related healthcare experience (preferred)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

• Ability to lift up to [25–50 lbs] and assist clients with mobility

• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
