Caregiver Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential in-home support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
- Performing light housekeeping duties
- Providing medication reminders
- Supporting activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe and positive environment for clients
Qualifications
- Caregiving, HCA, or CNA experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to complete Idaho caregiver training requirements if needed
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a competency evaluation, drug screen, and nationwide background check
- Reliable, caring, and compassionate attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
