Job Description:
Right at Home Kearney is urgently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable In-Home Caregivers to join our team. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing essential care and companionship that allows them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to the appropriate team members.
- Follow the individualized care plan for each client, ensuring their specific needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Right at Home care team.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping tasks.
